"From Duologue to Dialogue: The Path to Becoming Human Again" is a shortened Hebrew version of Giovanni Scarafile's Introduction to Il Duologo: La vita del dialogo, Morcelliana, 2021, in which he translates, edits, and reflects on the different meanings of Abraham Kaplan's "Life of Dialogue."

Giovanni Scarafile is a Professor of Philosophical Anthropology and Applied Ethics at the University of Pisa and holds the Liu Boming Professorship at Nanjing University (NJU). He serves on the Steering Committee of FISP (Fédération Internationale des Sociétés de PhUniversity (NJU) as well as the Steering Committee of FISP (Fédération Internationale des Sociétés de Philosophie) and is the Vice President of the IASC (International Association for the Study of Controversies). In his research, he initiated "Dialogethics," a novel interdisciplinary field in philosophy that aims to explore, analyze, and synthesize the multifaceted aspects of the communicative process within a unified epistemological framework. Among his book are “Interdisciplinarità ed etica della comunicazione” (2014), “Etica delle immagini” (2017), “L’etica oltre il divario tra teorie e pratiche” ( 2020).
